Brentwood Police Locate Firearm in Stolen Vehicle

At around 4:00 pm Wednesday, Brentwood Police were notified of a stolen vehicle entering the city on Sand Creek Road where a nearby officer was able to locate the vehicle and make a stop in the City of Brentwood.

In the parking lot of Ross at Sand Creek Crossing Shopping Center, police made contact with the vehicle and took at least one suspect into custody. During a search of the vehicle police located a firearm. There also appeared to be stolen merchandise but could not confirm.

Police said they were notified of their vehicle through their license plate reader cameras.

No other information was available at the scene and they were still processing the scene.

Yep. I make sure I follow the law to the T, I sure am glad the criminals do too. “Common Sense” gun laws work GREAT!
