At 10:09 am Wednesday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District was dispatched to a report of an overturned vehicle crash on Highway 4 near Discovery Bay Blvd. in the Town of Discovery Bay.
It was reported that occupants were trapped in the vehicle and a medical helicopter was started.
Upon arrival, Engine 59 reported the vehicle was off the shoulder and on its roof. The incident was determined to be a vehicle versus semi-truck with minor injuries.
The California Highway Patrol and Contra Costa County Sheriffs Office were on scene providing traffic control as the eastbound lane was blocked as they work the scene.
