Original Release

On January 1, 2014, Brentwood police officers were responding to the 800 block of Greenstone Court to investigate a home invasion robbery that just occurred with four suspects fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

Officers intercepted the suspect vehicle near the intersection of Central Blvd. and Fairview Ave.

Brentwood-Police-Home-invasion-officersThe occupants discarded a loaded .45 caliber pistol from the vehicle, evaded capture and abandoned the vehicle in the 1500 block of Autumn Valley Way where they attempted to flee on foot.

Officers quickly located the vehicle and contacted Anthony Tafoya (20 years of age – Pittsburg) and a male juvenile (16 years of age – Pittsburg) leaving the area on foot. Tafoya and the juvenile matched the suspect descriptions, so they were detained and positively identified by the victims.

Brentwood PD detectives responded to assist with the investigation. They obtained additional information and determined at least two of the suspects were known to the victims. These two suspects were recently present as welcome guests in the victim’s residence indicating the victims were not randomly selected.

I really think they are young enough to turn their lives around. I also really think that it is discouraging people that offer no guidence to these types of young adults. So ANYONE can say ANYTHING they want on here or any other forum. I believe that it is JUST THIS KIND of discrimintation that creates a stereotype. Tell you what .. As I have PRAYED for these young men, I will pray for all of you who wish harm on young people like them. Sad state we live in now. Instead of reading the commandments, society is busy reading the amendments

I really think they are young enough to turn their lives around. It is EXACTLY your type of discouraging attitude that has created hostility in our youth. Tell you what… As I prayed hard for these young men, I will do the same for you who find comfort in being disgruntled. Sad state we live in now. Instead of reading the commandments, society is too busy reading the ammendments. God protects me as he will these young men. God bless you & whoever else sees it fit to talk down on people just wanting to see the good in mankind.
