Brentwood: Occupants of Overturned Porsche Escape With Minor Injuries

At 2:40 pm Sunday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District was dispatched to a report of an overturned vehicle near Orwood Road at Bixler Road in unincorporated Brentwood.

A medical helicopter was dispatched to the scene and was anticipated to land by 3:00 pm.

AMR was first on scene and reported the incident was at Learning Lane and Bixler and were with the two occupants of the vehicle.

Engine 59 arrived on scene reporting one vehicle was partially on the roadway and on its roof. Engine 59 checked the area and arrived with AMR on Learning Lane where they had two patients, both sustaining minor injuries.

All additional units were cancelled including the medical helicopter.

Yeah, about as straight as a 90* turn as it goes from Orwood to Bixler

If you can’t slow down for a 90 after a mile or two of straightaway I don’t know what to tell you….

Maybe you shouldn’t try to rail those turns so hard, even if you do have a Porsche.

Anyone with a brain would realize speed wasn’t a factor in this. The car flipped from hitting the telephone wire and flipped over right there. If speed was involved the car would’ve been demolished…
