At 8:32 pm Saturday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a head-on vehicle crash on Sellers Road at Church Road in the unincorporated Brentwood.
Upon arrival by the California Highway Patrol (CHP), it was reported that one female was trapped with her leg pinned under both the steering wheel and seat of the vehicle.
Fire crews used the jaws of life to free the female from the vehicle where she was transported by ground ambulance (AMR) to Liberty High School where a medical helicopter landed and transported her to a local hospital with major leg injuries.
In total, two people were injured and both vehicles were a total loss. The crash is under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
Note – the video was cut for length and when possible, to show as little of the victim has possible. Crews were on scene for a total of 90 minutes.

Actually, SHE was hit. She was driving perfectly fine and someone came and hit her head on. She is a friend of mine, so I know her personally. She would never put herself in that kind of danger. STOP assuming. You’re the idiot.
yes they are a victim, they were doing nothing but following the law. the women who was life flighted could possibly have long term injuries. so yes the person who got life flighted is very much a victim.

If it was your own child who just arrived back home im sure your opinion would vary. Correct your knowledge about the situation before jumping to a false conclusion.
