Fire destroys 5-story apt. complex under construction causing $55 million in damage
CONCORD, California. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ (ATF) National Response Team (NRT) arrived on scene today to help investigate the three-alarm fire at the apartment complex that was under construction at 905 Galindo St., Concord, California.
On Tuesday, April 24, a fire was reported around 1 a.m. Special agents to include a certified fire investigator from the San Francisco Field Division responded to assist with the investigation. The Contra Costa County Fire District requested ATF’s expertise and resources to determine the cause and origin of the devastating fire resulting in approximately $55 million in damage.

The ATF announced a $100,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest and conviction.
