Antioch is in real bad shape when it comes to normality. The city is too small to have this many frequent murders. I feel bad for the victims of these senseless murders. Who would morally support anyone involved in murder? The priorities of these thugs is sad.

So absolutely disgusting. Victim my daughters age. Makes me so sad all the violence. Are any of us safe going to Antioch to do business?

At least he turned himself in. Hope the police can turn this city around. This is getting ridiculous.

This is truly Sad that a young women’s life was taken away. My thoughts and prayers go out to victim, her family and her friends.

Antioch has at least six homicides this year. The Antioch Police Department is doing an outstanding job but they are over worked from call to call (high stress calls). The police can’t do this on their own, we need more watchful eyes to help reduce crime.

We need a better Antioch Mayor, Councilmembers and City Manager, they have lead us into this downfall. Like in the Navy – if a vessel goes a ground the top three (Commanding Officer (CO) Executive Officer (XO) and the Navigation Officer (NAV. O)) are removed. Utilizing this as a metaphor, we need to take a good look at our representatives. Antioch has run a ground, thus, the City Mayor (CO), City Councilmembers (XO) and City Manager (Nav. O) need to be removed. They have truly proven that they lack the necessary skills to run a city.

And, don’t point the fingers blaming – blacks. We live in a multicultural state and our city as well and blacks makeup a small percentage. Thus, the point to be made is that we the people voted them in, not blacks only. We have a responsibility that falls upon all of us, to keep the unqualified in or kick them out: It’s Our Choice to Fix the City, not the police alone.

We all live here: get involved, report crimes, and support each other. If you don’t help to fix a problem, they you are part of the problem.

Let’s get Antioch back on Course!!!

My Deepest Condolences to the Family and Friends of the young women who last her life, My You Rest in Peace.

To the suspect, thank you for turning yourself in. This will not relinquish your responsibility to the victim’s family or the criminal justice.

Violence in this town has become insufferable , I am insulted that as soon as a white male commits a crime it becomes a racist topic. If it was a black suspect it would be seen as a normal day of in Antioch, and left at that! I myself heard the news and thought it was another senseless act committed by our new neighbors, but when I heard the culprit turned himself in I got a sick feeling in my gut that it was a white guy…. I was right !! It’s a step back! How can we fix a problem if we can’t face it. Good people come in all colors, so does violence! In this town there is an abnormally high amount of violent black criminals who are given a pass by the police, unless it is committed in front of them and I still I wonder if they can do a thing to stop it.
