Update: Amber Alert for Missing Vallejo Teen Cancelled

by ECT

On Wednesday, November 17th, at approximately 4:10 p.m., a Santa Rosa Police Officer was dispatched to a suspicious missing person report at the Rotten Robbie Gas Station in the 2500 block of Guerneville Road. The missing person was identified as Georgiana Chozmana Bambaloi, a 15-year-old female juvenile from Vallejo, California.

As officers began their investigation, they learned that Bambaloi had possibly been taken against her will and was not voluntarily missing. The initial information from Bambaloi’s parents was that she was forced into a dark colored Jeep or similar, by several adult males.

Officers began a canvas of the area and learned that the potential abduction had actually occurred at the ARCO Gas Station across the street from Rotten Robbie’s at 2500 Guerneville Road, and there was  video of the incident.  Additionally, a witness to the incident saw Bambaloi standing with several family members near the corner of Guerneville Road and Fulton Road. According to the information that officers gathered, at approximately 1:40 p.m., a male suspect in an orange shirt ran across the parking lot of the ARCO.   The suspect grabbed Bambaloi and forced her into a dark grey vehicle that then is driven away eastbound on Guerneville Road.

Bambaloi is described as 5’6” with a thin build. She has long dark hair and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with green and red cherries on it, and black jeans.

Based on the potential abduction, detectives from Santa Rosa Police Department’s Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Team responded and took over the investigation.  They are still actively investigating this incident and if there is any association or connection between the missing person and suspects.  We have received some information that the vehicle might be headed to the Los Angeles area, but we are unable to verify that at this time.
