The city of San Jose reported closing several hundred massage establishments in the last few years(https://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/Over-100-San-Jose-Massage-Parlors-Close-After-Prostitution-Crackdown-497754741.html). This is good for San Jose but very bad for Antioch and the surrounding area. The owners/profitable women will take their money and attempt to start a massage business here in Antioch. In just the last two years, Antioch has doubled these establishments. When too many try to compete with each other for limited amount of customers that pay well, trouble will follow. The city has tried to stay ahead of the onslaught by not allowing owners with criminal pasts to set up this type of business. But what they do not realize is they will put a criminal clean shadow owner in place and try again in a new location. What can you do? Report any activity you find not proper in and around such a business. The city counsel has publicly promised to keep the Police responsible for taking these complaints seriously. Do your civic duty!
Oh, now they call houses of prostitution “massage” parlors. Yes! Just change the name. Hasn’t anyone caught on yet?
Everyone’s caught on! Most ppl know what’s up and it ain’t good. Ever heard of a massage with a happy ending? If not you need to get out more. I’m not for the practice at all. Go to Reno if you want to pay for some tail. Oh yeah, better bring a boat load of money. I guess that’s why all the success out here cheap prices comparitively. World’s oldest trade; too bad we have to deal with this scourge out here in East County now. I guess it’s our turn to tackle it. Massage parlor. “I’m stressed”. Yeesh. Shut em all down.
Don’t forget the potential human trafficking factor; both from Asia and south of the border.
