Crime is not down 10%. I do not care what the City Manager and Police Stats say.
Sorry to say, but this city will never recover from the damage that has already been done. You could hire 50 more cops and you will still be left with a city that has been plagued by criminal element. Antioch in now nothing but a eastern extension of san francisco, Oakland or Richmond. Just wait until BART makes its way to Antioch. Easier for people to travel from the big cities to Antioch. Spent 40 years in Antioch and had to leave for the safety of my family. Ultimately people will have to move out of the state to escape the ideology of the welfare giving far left. They are damaging our society and keeping the poor even poorer with nothing to look forward to. Just keep hand feeding to gain political votes. What a shame.
We need the National Guard!!! Is anyone going to address what has happened in the City in the pass 7 days????
I have already suggested the National Guard and everyone laughed at me. But, we have been here 48 years and we are not leaving. We still intend to fight for our city.
Good ‘ole Antioch. But don’t sorry folks, remember our Mayor said “things are getting better”. Also, has anyone read the article on his take how measure C is improving our safety?
I sure safe and cozy in this town.
The city is just another victim of crime. Simple. People are caring less and less and get more and more bold. I feel more safe in Oakland and San Francisco. There is no need for the “national gaurd” or more officers. People just need to let shit go and mind their own business.
Good ‘ole Antioch.
And how has measure c money made this city safer again?
If you are hoping for the National Guard then why would you want to live there.
This isnt something new here I moved here in 2003 and it was going on then the kids fighting at plaza and all now they want to point the finger at the new mayor just like this country was messed up when Obama came in to office and now they want to blame him for every thing.
