Antioch Police Nab Shooting Suspect After Separate Shots Fired Calls

Antioch Police and assisting agencies caught a shooting suspect on D. Street and W. 17th Tuesday night after the subject crashed a car and fled the scene.

According to police, shots were fired just before 10:00 pm on D Street where they quickly set up a perimeter around Antioch Middle School and ended up locating the subject on D St. & W. 17th. The school was searched as a precaution and a gun was recovered nearby.

According to radio traffic, medical was required because there was reportedly a shooting victim. Upon police arrival, the subject was reportedly shot at and not hit. It was also stated a second subject was with the arrested subject, but fled the area.

This arrest was related to an earlier shooting in the area of W. 10th and J Street near Bonfare where shots were fired, however, no one was hit around 9:30 pm. The shooter was positively identified according to Police.

Police were working with the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office and FBI Tuesday night performing a proactive detail, those results are expected to be released later today.

No further information was released.

If we post pictures of every shooting incident, where these ghetto losers originally came from & if they live in subsidized housing maybe the Liberals in this city would wake up & admit we have a problem. Time to stop sugar coating our crime issue & ask why are they here & tell us about their gang affiliations. Somebody agreed to let these gang members come here on housing vouchers, who & why?!!

There was also a shooting on Halloween night at cruisers saloon there have been two deaths and four shootings at that bar in two years why is that place allowed to stay open and all these shootings recently are a bunch of punks that are scared to fight all of these ignorant people have no concept of life they are trash it baffles my mind how these piece of garbage people live in million dollar houses on welfare pay two hundred dollars a month rent and collect food stamps and my father who is a disabled Vietnam vet is that expected to live off less than a thousand dollars a month welcome to a Obama world this is what you get with stupid politicians that makeour laws are so out of touch with the real world i say if the cops see a punk sagging his pants stop him find out what he is up to hell go sit at romies liquor for an hour in the afternoon you will see drug dealers selling and using drugs hookers selling there ass at those two trash hotels and nothing is being done why why why nobody in power in Antioch has the balls to say enough is enough do like l.a.p.d did in the early 90’s and just start arresting these punks for whatever they can
