As students were making their way off campus to enjoy the weekend, Brentwood Police briefly made their way onto campus as a precaution to a reported “beeping noise” near the library.
As Brentwood Police redirected traffic and blocked off the library, rumors of a bomb threat quickly spread to parents.
Heritage High School Principal Larry Oshodi did confirm police were on campus, but it was during the final minutes of school, roughly 5-minutes.
Police arrived after there were reports of a “beeping noise” and only as a precaution. It turns out, the noise was nothing more than a bad medical insulation pump beeping in a trash can.
