You are invited to join the Streets of Brentwood and the Contra Costa County Humane Society on Sunday, October 25 as they host a Halloween celebration. They will host a costume contest, Trunk-or-Treat and pet adoptions.
Here is more information on the event which is being held between 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in the center court.
Pet & Owner Duo/Family Costume Contest
You and your pet should DRESS-to-IMPRESS the judges as a unit for a chance to win:
- $50 Mel’s Gift Card – 1st Place
- $25 AMC Gift Card – 2nd Place
- $10 Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Gift Card – 3rd Place
In each of these categories:
- Cutest
- Funniest
- Creepiest
- Most Inventive

Trunk-or-Treat Event
Families are invited to decorate their trunk or entire vehicle for your chance to win big prizes, and for kids to view and trick-or-treat at your awesome display. Bring lots of candies! *
*The amount and quality of candies you distribute to families do not increase or decrease your chances of winning. To participate in the trick-or-treat, you will be asked to sign The Streets of Brentwood’s official Release of Liability agreement upon check-in.
- $250 Color Me Mine gift card for 1st place
- $100 Color Me Mine gift card for 2nd place
- $50 Color Me Mine gift card for 3rd place
Judging of your TRUNK-or-Treat display will be based on the following:
- How elaborate
- How engaging
- How well made
Winners will be determined and awarded towards the end of the event at 1:50 pm.
