Saturday: Black Bass Fishing Series Kicks off out of Big Break Marina

On Saturday, Dan’s Delta Outdoors of Oakley kicks off its 2017 Black Bass Fishing Series out of Big Break Marina.

The 7-event series will launch out of Big break Marina with a $225 all in entry fee, $175 entry fee, $15 option, $20 big fish, $15 insurance and permit fee with 90% payback. To qualify for the Tournament of champions, you must participate in 4-events.

According to Dan Mathisen, if 50 boats participate, the payout is $2,375 per + a $400 option per event  for first place all the way down to $225 for 10^th place.

All tournaments begin at sunrise.

• July 15, 2017
• August 19, 2017
• September 30, 2017
• October 28 & 29, 2017 (Tournament of Champions)
