ECCFPD: January Average Response Time Hits 7:04 Minutes

In the month of January, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to 562 service calls with an average response time of 7:04 minutes. For calendar year 2013, the District ran a total of 6454 calls for service with an average response time of 7:08 minutes.

Here is a breakdown of the station responses:

  • Station 52 – John Muir Parkway Brentwood: 174 calls with average response of 6:06 minutes
  • Station 54 – Downtown Brentwood: 106 calls with average response time of 6:30 minutes
  • Station 59 – Bixler Road Discovery Bay: 65 calls with average response time of 8:05 minutes
  • Station 93 – O’Hara Ave Oakley: 157 calls with average response time of 6:35 minutes
  • Station 94 – A Street Knightsen: had 11 calls with average response time of 7:44 minutes
  • Station 95 – Ranch Rd. Bethel Island (Closed): had 34 calls within this area with average response time of 11:29 minutes.
  • CAL-Fire Station 16-Marsh Creek/Morgan Territory: Had 14 calls with an average response time of 10:27 minutes.

Auto Aid

In the month of January, the District received auto aid from Contra Costa County Fire 27-times with them sending 32-engines. The District sent auto aid to Contra Costa County Fire 21-times providing them with 24-engines.

In 2013, the District received auto aid from Contra Costa County Fire 345 times with them sending 476 engines compared to the District receiving engines from Contra Costa County a total of 198 times with 234 engines.
