Danville Police Investigate Murder-Suicide

Danville Police detectives are investigating the deaths of two Danville residents in what is believed to be a murder-suicide.
Police Chief Steve Simpkins said at 7:46 a.m. officers were called to a home on Glen Eagle Court after a 911 call was made.
On arrival, officers heard a gunshot and made entry into the home where they found a male, identified as Edward Perry, 77, dead of a gunshot wound.
A search of the home led to the discovery of the body of Patricia Perry, 67, also dead of a gunshot wound.Chief Simpkins will hold a press conference at 5:30 p.m. today, at the Danville Police Department
