Hook, Line & Sinker announced its results for its opening day event of the 2015-16 Bass Tournament Series Sunday with Jack Ball and Thomas Lopez taking top honors with a combined weight of 27.55 lbs in the 5-fish limit.

Ball and Lopez were helped out with their large fish weighing in at 7.49lbs.
Tim Nguyen and Vinny Dau took second with a total weight of 20.82 lbs while the team of Ron Pine and Michael More came in third at 20.09.
The “Large Fish” of the day was a tie which came in at 8.61 lbs.
In total, 75 teams participated in the event with 66 teams registering a fish which launches out of Russos Marina on Bethel Island. The event is aimed to be a low cost circuit for the amateur angler.
