8:00 am: Brentwood Farmers Market
Join the Brentwood Farmers Market which runs every Saturday now through November 19 on Oak Street in Brentwood. The market runs from 8:00 am to noon.
9:00 am: Antioch Police Neighborhood Cleanup
The Antioch Police Department will host the 73rd installment of the Neighborhood Cleanup Program on Saturday, August 6 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Gentrytown Park. They will be cleaning the neighborhoods between Monterey Dr. and Mission Dr. down to Rio Grande Drive and Gentrytown Park.
Volunteers will receive instructions and the equipment necessary to accomplish the goal. The targeted area is within walking distance. Excluding inclement weather, future Neighborhood Cleanup events are scheduled for the first Saturday of every month and the locations will be announced in advance.
11:00 am to 2:00 pm: Antioch Stuff the Bus Event
On Saturday August 6, students within the Antioch Unified School District are invited to the 2016-17 Stuff the Bus event which is a kick off to the school year with a school supply giveaway.
Claryssa Wilson, a Sophomore at Antioch High, has scheduled her Kickoff the School year School Supply Give a way for Saturday, August 6th from 11am-2pm located 3440 Hillcrest Ave, Antioch.
Students within grades K-12 can receive FREE school supplies.
12:00 pm to 5:00: Antioch Rivertown Wine Walk
Join downtown Antioch businesses in the Rivertown Business District will be hosting a Rivertown Wine Walk. The event is from noon to 5:00 pm and tickets are $8 (August 1-6) and at the door—the starting location is Elite Dance located at 304 G Street, Antioch. 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm: Hot Brentwood Days
Car show featuring local and non-local collectors and restoration artists. Judges will award prizes. (Street closure on First, Oak and Chestnut Streets) Food by Brentwood Fine Meats and El Gallito Mexican Food. All Beer & Wine $5 each;

6:00 pm Antioch Summer Concert Series (Free)
Once again Waldie Plaza in downtown Antioch will be the place to be on Saturday nights in July and August (excluding 7/2nd due to the holiday) for free concerts by the river.
The Antioch Free Saturday Summer Concert Series continues with Toree McGee and Rodeo House Antioch at Waldie Plaza located between G & I Streets (by Antioch City Hall off of 2nd Street).
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and visit a downtown restaurant before the concert or bring a light meal/snack from home. Waldie Plaza is a designated park and park rules apply (no alcohol, dogs on leash, etc.).
6:30 pm: Antioch Speedway
You are invited to watch racing Saturday night at the Antioch Speedway with six divisions which include Wingless 360 Sprints, A Mods, B Mods, Hobby Stocks and Dwarf Cars Gates open at 5:00 pm and racing begins at 6:30 pm.

September 23: Antioch Police Activities League 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament
The Antioch Police Activities League have announced they will host their 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament registration for player and sponsorship is now open. The tournament will be taking place on Friday, September 23, 2016, at Lone Tree Golf Course and Event Center here in Antioch.
The field is limited to 128 players and is now sold out.

September 24: Special Haven Texas Hold ‘Em Fundraiser event
On Sept. 24, join Special Haven for a Texas Hold ‘Em Fundraiser event at the Brentwood Veterans Memorial Hall at 757 First Street in Brentwood. Dinner is at 5:00 pm with cards beginning at 6:30 pm. The event is $60 before 9/10 or $80 at the door. Dinner is $25 there are also raffles, 50/50 raffle, and door prizes.
All money raised goes to Special Haven for the support and maintenance of their state of the art multi-sensory room.
