On friday the National Weather Service has issued a Excessive Heat Advisory for parts of the San Francisco Bay Area for the inland areas. Highs from 95-105 degrees combined with warm overnight lows will impact those sensitive to the heat.
The advisory goes into effect from 11:00 am Saturday to 11:00 pm Sunday.
An excessive heat advisory means that a prolonged period of dangerously hot temperatures are expected. Hot temperatures will create a dangerous situation in which heat illness will create a dangerous situation in which illness are likely.
The public is encouraged to drink plenty of fluids and stay in an air-conditioned room and out of the sun. Be sure to check up on relatives and neighbors.
