Water District to Repair Leaking Pipe, Traffic Delays Expect on Marsh Creek Road

by ECT

Contra Costa Water District’s contractor will begin making necessary repairs to fix a leaking water pipe near Marsh Creek Road as soon as Monday, July 24.

Construction activities will take place between Russelmann Park Road and Morgan Territory Road (see map). Repairs of this pipe will ensure a reliable supply of drinking water to homes.

For the safety of motorists and our crews, a portion of the westbound lane on Marsh Creek Road will be closed while work is taking place. Drivers should expect traffic delays of 15 to 20 minutes throughout the project. Crews will be working as efficiently as possible to minimize disruptions. This project should be complete by August 4.

This work will not impact water service.

If you have any questions about the work during normal business hours, please contact Oliver Symonds at [email protected] or 925-688-8010.
