The Walnut Creek Police Department announced they are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two females who are responsible for at least three wallet thefts.
According to police, between Wednesday, July 27th and Friday, August 5th, the duo was responsible for at least 3 separate wallet thefts from various restaurants in downtown Walnut Creek.
In video released on social media, one suspect steals the wallet out of the purse of an unsuspecting customer while the other one watches. Immediately after stealing the wallets, the duo begins using the credit cards at nearby businesses and at Sun Valley Mall in Concord.
If you recognize either of these two women, please call the Walnut Creek Police Department and let us know. Refer to case 16-27261.
Police are hoping with the public’s help, they can catch them before they victimize others.

Guess welfare wasn’t enough
Free handouts are never enough for the ghetto. They want more than the hard working tax paying people. And not surprisingly they feel they are entitled to a better life than those that work hard to put food on the table.
I actually stopped carrying a handbag with any valuable items in it some years ago because of this. There’s a neck wallet made by Pacsafe which has RFID protection and cut-proof straps that can fit underneath clothing. Comfortable and keeps everything secure. You’d pretty much know if someone was messing around with it. It’s adjustable and not too expensive. Think you can find them on Amazon. They’re mostly used for international travel in areas where pickpockets are common, but are practical for local use here as well. Washable and durable, better than trying to cancel all your cards after a theft.
Black lives matter!
The Dude, you’re a sorry excuse for a fully functioning higher primate. Not only is that statement totally out of context, but so is your existence here on this planet. Great job being a typical media puppet ??
TheDude statement speaks volumes as for you Me put a sock in it!
Larry, do humanity a favor and actually read a few volumes for once.
