An attempted murder suspect out of Antioch was taken into custody on Tuesday in Walnut Creek, according to police.
At about 6:00 pm, the Walnut Creek Police Department received an anonymous report that a subject wanted by the Antioch Police Department was at Jack-in-the-Box, located at 2295 North Main Street, police said.
Officers arrived at the location and found 20-year-old Jack-in-the-Box employee and Antioch resident Ronvell Scheneck inside. Scheneck was arrested on three warrants for charges including attempted murder and carrying a concealed firearm, according to Walnut Creek Police Captain Steve Gorski.
Scheneck was booked into the county jail on $1,015,000.00 bail for the warrants and a charge of violation of his probation, according to Captain Gorski.
Unfortunately, Captain Gorski said officers did not receive cooperation from the management at Jack-in-the-Box who refused to allow officers into a rear area of the restaurant where Scheneck had been.
Another employee in the restaurant was recently contacted after yelling obscenities at officers from the drive-thru window as they were outside dealing with an unrelated disturbance, according to Captain Gorski.

Fire all these thugs/illegals that work at these places!!
What pathetic management. What else were they hiding? Good to see another POS off the streets.
Cooperating with the police is wise, but the manager is employed at will. And he works for a large corporation, even if it is Jack in the Box. Maybe he feared losing his job. It doesn’t mean he’s hiding anything. The crimes weren’t committed at Jack in the Box, and 6:00 p.m. is the dinner rush.
Getting rid of the thugs is a good idea, and he’s in jail where he belongs.
Wow! Unemployment for the 16-24 year group is zero in the Walnut Creek area?
Killing during the day and serving burgers at night. Criminals never cease to amaze me.
I know his mother (Laneisha) ,which they call mondo.!
