Update: Tara Hills Homicide Suspect Surrenders

20-year old Kyle Navarro of El Sobrante surrendered at the Martinez Detention Facility at about 10:30 this morning. He was wanted in connection with the murder of 24-year-old Nicholas Callen on March 31, 2014 in the unincorporated community of Tara Hills.

The Contra Costa County District Attorney had filed a formal murder charge against Navarro and an arrest warrant was issued for him.

Navarro was booked for murder and is being held in lieu of $2 million bail.
