Update: Stolen Puppy Out of Lafayette Returned

by ECT

Update — Jelly’s Place announced Saturday via social media that Iris was returned and stated the suspected thief was around San Francisco.

Here is what was posted:

Many people spotted the suspected thief around San Francisco, some people gave out flyers, and LOTS of people shared the posts on FB and IG.

Iris was found by an officer due to all these tips and shared information. She was with a group of homeless people who said they were given the puppy by the thief because “they are on to me”.

This woman is wanted for various crimes and her day will come. But if it wasn’t for everyone who came together and helped with all the pieces of the puzzle, we would still be worried sick about our Iris.

She’s now safe and she can decompress from all her adventures in the city. I know she’ll find a great home soon. #rescuepuppy #irisisfound #grateful #ItTakesaVillage

I hope this scumbag woman is found and winds up in jail! Her face is quite clearly depicted on the website.

Iam sure the dog was better off with the thief.

The fact that the woman had a NOSE RING indicates that she’s not mentally stable. The dog will go to people who will care for it and love it. Thank heavens, Iris was found. And, yes, the thief should be pursued.
