Update: Brentwood Police Identify Man Shot by Officers

The following was released today by Brentwood Police

OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING THAT OCCURRED ON FRIDAY, JUNE 9, 2017 AT APPROXIMATELY 9:48 P.M.

BRENTWOOD, CA – The suspect wounded during the officer involved shooting was identified as, Jesus Carranza, 21 year old male from Oakley. Carranza was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on June 12th charged with a misdemeanor violation of resisting arrest and felony violations of assault with a deadly weapon, shooting from a vehicle, and carrying a loaded stolen firearm.
