Tri Delta Transit Announces Free Fares and Social Distancing Efforts

by ECT

In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19), Tri Delta Transit announced Friday that all fares on buses will be free and in an effect to ensure social distancing, boarding buses will be through the rear door unless they require a wheelchair ramp.

According to Tri Delta Transit, industry response to the COVID-19 crisis changes hour-to-hour and staff is working hard to make sure those traveling to essential services and jobs get the transportation they require while keeping our employees safe and healthy.

“As a transit agency, it is important that we take precautions so we may continue to provide transportation services.  Protecting the health and safety of our passengers and staff is our top priority.” said Chief Executive Officer Jeanne Krieg.
