Shortly before 6:00 am Thursday, Antioch Police responded to an alarm at the CVS on Somersville Road where three men are suspected of smashing a vehicle into the store during a burglary which resulted in a police chase.
Officers located a vehicle in the area believed to be involved in the CVS burglary and engaged in a vehicle pursuit with it that began in Antioch and was ultimately terminated in the Concord/Walnut Creek area.
Antioch PD detained one subject from the vehicle prior to the pursuit. Walnut Creek PD located and detained two other subjects in their jurisdiction which were later determined to be the other occupants of the vehicle APD pursued. Those two were also arrested. The vehicle was also located.
No other details are being released at this time regarding the suspects or the burglary pending further investigation by APD Detectives.

According to radio traffic, the pursuit led police down Somersville Road to Buchanan where it ultimately went over Kirker Pass and Concord Police were notified. The suspects were in a U-Haul box truck which came to a stop at Concord Blvd.

The vehilce was located on Nebraska Dr. in Concord.
Two subjects were detained by police while a third was later located and according to CONFIRE radio traffic was tased by police.
