Supervisor Piepho: Scheduled Road Work Alert June 16-30

Contra Costa County Public Works Department will perform road work starting June 16, 2014 through the week of June 30, 2014 between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm, Monday-Friday.

The Public Works Department maintenance crews are currently scheduled to be grinding out and repaving damaged sections of pavement on the roads identified below.

Week of June 16th:

• Byron Area – Camino Diablo road between Holway Drive and Vasco Road
• Discovery Bay – Bixler Road between Marsh Creek Road and Point of Timber Road

Week of June 23rd:

• Discovery Bay – Bixler Road between Marsh Creek Road and Point of Timber Road
• Pleasant Hill Area – Pleasant Hill Road between Reliez Valley Road and Greenvalley Drive
• Pacheco/Martinez Area – Donna Drive, Irene Drive and Michelle Drive
• Orinda Area – Bear Creek Road between Garcia Ranch Road and the East Bay Municipal Utility (EBMUD) District Reservoir

Week of June 30th:

• El Sobrante – La Polma Road between Appian Way and Hilltop Drive

The scheduled work is subject to change.  Electronic message boards will advise motorists of planned work in advance.  Motorists can expect delays and should use alternate routes.
