On Saturday, September 7, 2013, Special Haven will be hosting its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament. This is our signature event. A big thank you goes out to our Title Sponsor “Community Bank of the Bay”. This is a wonderful event for golfers of all skill levels since we play a scramble, best ball format so everyone on the team can contribute. If you are not a golfer, you can still join us for dinner. Tickets for golf, which includes dinner, are $100 per person, and dinner only tickets are $35 per person.
The event will be held at Shadow Lakes Golf Club at 401 West Country Club Drive, Brentwood, CA 94513. Golfers will receive a small bucket of range balls to get warmed up, a light lunch, a souvenir bag, and dinner. There will be a longest drive competition, closest to the pin contest, and a hole in one contest where the winner can win a car. Check in is at 11am and our shotgun start is at noon. Dinner will follow at 5:30pm where we will have a Kansas City Style BBQ Buffet, silent auction baskets, and raffles. We hope to see you there!

This looks fun. Where do all the proceeds go? Will they stay local or go into a general fund ? Do you have any examples of the silent auction prizes? What kind of car can be won? What is this pre and post golf massage? My wife wants to know. We need more information.
