Updated Special Election Results: Glazier, Bonilla Lead in Senate Race

In the Special Election to fill the vacant 7^th Senate District seat, Orinda Mayor Steve Glazier and Assemblywoman Susan Bonilla are leading just before midnight Tuesday. Both are democrats.

Here is a look at the Statewide Results: 100.0% ( 645 of 645 ) precincts partially reporting as of March 17, 2015, 11:42 p.m

• Steve Glazier (D) – 31,859 (32.8%)
• Susan Bonilla (D) – 24,161 (24.9%)
• Joan Buchanan (D) – 21,912 (22.6%)
• Michaela Hertle (R) – 16,462 (17%)
• Terry Kremin (D) – 2.710 (2.8%)

The top two finishers of tonight’s Primary will go onto a runoff scheduled for May 19^th to fill a seat left vacant by Mark DeSaunlier, who resigned after winning a Congressional Seat and replacing George Miller.
