The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between September 12-18 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Assault

  • 9/12 – American Ave: ARR punched VIC in the head and ribs. ARR released on a signed juvenile affidavit.
  • 9/12 – City Park Way: RES battered VIC after the Liberty HS Homecoming dance.
  • 9/14 – Balfour Rd: Unknown RES’s punched VIC and stole his belongings. Minor injuries. VIC transported by AMR to Sutter Delta.
  • 9/16 – Atherton Blvd: VIC involved in mutual fist fight with RES. VIC sustained chipped tooth. No prosecution desired. Report for documentation only.
  • 9/16 – Second St.: RES grabbed VIC by the throat during a verbal argument at the Homecoming dance.
  • 9/17 – Brentwood Blvd: RES-1 and RES-2 battered VIC.

Burglary – Business

  • 9/16 – Sand Creek Rd: RES forced entry through rear door from 9/15-9/16 between 2300 and 0430 hours and stole cash from register.

Burglary – Residential

  • 9/11 – Corniglia Ln: RP reported that when they came home from vacation, they found their rear sliding door shattered and it appeared someone had entered their home. No property reported stolen at this time. Burglary occurred sometime between 1000 hours on 9-9-14 and 1445 hours on 9-11-14.
  • 9/12 – Pajarito Ct.: Unknown RES entered the residence and stole unknown items. Total approximate loss $5070.
  • 9/16 – Cortona Way: ARR attempted to enter the residence. ARR was confronted by homeowner. ARR was arrested and transported to MDF. ARR was on parole.
  • 9/16 – Woodside Dr.: RES- entered the residence through an open window and stole jewelry and electronics.
  • 9/17 – Dawnview Dr: RES entered VIC’s residence through an unlocked bathroom window. RES rummaged through the master bedroom and exited via the front door. No property appears to have been stolen.
  • 9/18 – Rutherford Cl: Unknown RES entered VIC’s residence through an unlocked rear door. While inside, RES took VIC’s property. Occurred between 1815 – 2100 hours.
  • 9/18 – Griffith: Unknown RES entered VIC’s residence through an unlocked rear door. While inside, RES took VIC’s property. Occurred between 1615-1915 hours.

Burglary – Theft From Auto

  • 9/13 – Griffith Lane: VIC rear vehicle window was smashed and her purse was taken. Occurred between 1330-1445 hours.

DUI

  • 9/13 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was contacted during a traffic enforcement stop. ARR was found to be under the influence of alcohol. ARR was released on a Promise to Appear.
  • 9/15 – Grant St.: ARR was stopped for a VC violation. ARR was determined to be DUI. ARR provided breath samples. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/16 – Central Blvd: ARR contacted and determined to have been operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF.

 

Grand Theft

  • 9/10 – Wildrose Way: VIC reported RES stole her jewelry. VIC estimated loss at $1,000
  • 9/11 – Second St: RP reported that his friend’s phone had been taken out of her pocket while they were walking down the sidewalk by an unknown RES. VIC is a juvenile.
  • 9/16 – Lone Tree Way: VIC’s vehicle was entered by an unknown point of entry, and a laptop computer was taken. Total estimated loss $1,060.00.
  • 9/18 – Huntington Way: Unknown RES stole catalytic converter. Total loss approximately $4000.

H&S Violation

  • 9/10 – American Ave: Two students were found to be in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on campus.
  • 9/11 – Second St.: ARR was contacted and found to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARR was also in possession of a stolen bicycle which was returned to the owner. ARR to MDF. CIT was in possession of suspected marijuana and was issued a citation.
  • 9/11 – Second St.: ARR was contacted during a suspicious circumstance and found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/16 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted on a suspicious stop and determined to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant and in possession of drug paraphernalia. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/16 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted and determined to be under the influence of a CNS Stimulant. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/18 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted and determined to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARR also in possession of drug paraphernalia. ARR to MDF.

Miscellaneous Information

  • 9/18 – Brentwood Blvd: Approximately eighty gallons of oil was spilled outside of the business, but it was contained prior to reaching any drains.

Narcotic Drug Law Violation

  • 9/10 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was contacted during a suspicious person call. ARR was determined to be in possession of 3.0 grams Methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/10 – Fall Dr.: RP received a package containing suspected marijuana. Package was addressed to an unknown RES. Package was taken for destruction.
  • 9/10: San Creek Rd: ARR was contacted and determined to be in possession of a controlled substance. ARR also on felony probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/11 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR-1 stopped for VC violation. ARR determined to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARR-2 was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. ARRs to MDF.
  • 9/13 – Technology Way: ARR was contacted as a result of a reported DUI driver. ARR found to be in possession of Oxycodone, Fentanyl, and Diazepam, and driving under the influence of controlled substances. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/15 – Brentwood Blvd: RP reported suspicious activity in one of the rooms. While investigating ARR was found to be in possession of heroin. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/16 – Almond St.: ARR was contacted for littering. ARR was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics and on felony probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/17 – First St: ARR 1 was contacted and found to have an outstanding arrest warrants for violations of probation and was found to be in possession of a methamphetamine pipe. ARR2 was found to be in possession of a methamphetamine pipe, methamphetamine, and a switchblade knife. ARRs to MDF.
  • 9/17 – First St.: ARR was stopped for a VC violation. ARR was found to be on probation and in possession of 2.6 grams of Methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.

Penal Code – Other Violations

  • 9/12 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were contacted as passengers in a vehicle stopped for VC violations. ARR-1 determined to be on PRCS and under the influence of a controlled substance. ARR- 2 determined to be a felon in possession of pepper spray and metal knuckles. ARRs to MDF.
  • 9/16 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was stopped for a VC violation. During a search of ARR’s vehicle, officers located a box of ammunition. ARR is a prohibited person from owning ammunition due to his probation terms. ARR to MDF.

Petty Theft

  • 9/11 – Guise Way: Red Mongoose bicycle with child seat on the back was taken from VIC’s driveway. Blue Roadmaster bicycle was left in its place.
  • 9/11 – Minnesota Ave: RES took VIC’s wallet from her desk during class. Loss: $168
  • 9/11 – Lone Tree Way: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were caught shoplifting. ARR-1 went to MDF. ARR-2 went to Juvenile Hall.
  • 9/12 – Sand Creek Rd: VIC bicycle taken from her rear yard. Occurred between 1100-1200. Loss $100.
  • 9/12 – Sand Creek Rd: VIC bicycle taken from the back porch of her residence. Occurred 09/07/14 1700 -09/10/14 1100. Loss $100
  • 9/12 – Brentwood Blvd: Unknown RES stole VIC’s cell phone from an unlocked locker. Total loss approximately $350.
  • 9/13 – Second St.: ARR was contacted while officers responded to investigate a silent alarm. ARR was in possession of a janitorial trash barrel filled with recyclables. Under Miranda, ARR admitted to taking the property from school campus. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/14 – Lone Tree Way: VIC’S IPad stolen from an unattended shopping cart.
  • 9/15 – Sand Creek Rd: RES-1 and RES-2 entered VIC’s unlocked vehicle and stole VIC’s purse from the center console while VIC ran into her home briefly. (09/15/14 1320-1345)
  • 9/16 – Birch St.: VIC’s phone was stolen from his locker. The phone was later destroyed by two subjects.
  • 9/16 – Balfour: ARR1 and ARR2 were arrested for theft from CVS. ARR1 and ARR2 were both on probation and had been convicted of 666 PC. ARR1 and ARR2 were each in possession of pepper spray. Both are convicted felons. ARR1 and ARR2 transported to MDF. Total stolen and recovered $852.84.
  • 9/18 – Desert Gold Pl: VIC reported that items in her back yard had been moved, and a river rock with painted eyes was stolen.
  • 9/18 – Sand Creek: VIC’s light blue adult bicycle with a child seat on the back was stolen during the night

Vandalism

  • 9/10 – Grant St: Mailbox was damaged. Occurred between 09/08/2014 1230 hours and 09/10/2014 1330 hours.
  • 9/11 – City Park Way : Parking garage light structure was defaced with black sharpie.
  • 9/11 – Central Blvd: Lock was damaged, and two breaker boxes were tampered with.
  • 9/16 – Shady Willows Lane: Graffiti located on a concrete wall at the west end of the walking trail along Grant Street.
  • 9/17 – City Park Way: RP reported to find a city vehicle that had a dented roof caused by an unknown RES. Occurred between 8/3/14- 9/2/14.

Warrant

  • 9/10 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was contacted and determined to have a felony warrant for his arrest. ARR to juvenile hall.
  • 9/14 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR found to have a cite release warrant. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 9/15 – Balfour Rd: ARR was stopped due VC violation. ARR was determined to have a warrant out of San Benito County for 422 PC and 653(m) PC. ARR was transported to MDF.
  • 9/16 – Second St: ARR found laying in CVS parking lot and found to have 2 non-citable misdemeanor warrants. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/17 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR- was stopped for a vehicle code violation and determined to have a felony warrant out of Alameda County. ARR- was transported to MDF and his vehicle was stored.
  • 9/18 – Virginia Dr: ARR contacted and found to have two outstanding warrants for petty theft. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/18 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR found to have an outstanding no bail warrant. ARR transported to MDF.

Weapons Violations

  • 9/11 – Birch St.: Student brought a knife to school to sell to another student.
  • 9/18 – Oak St.: ARR stopped for VC violation. Upon a search of the vehicle, contraband was located including approximately 120 .22 caliber hollow-point rounds, a loaded .22 caliber modified rifle concealed to be a wooden baseball bat with 15 rounds in the magazine, a billy club, and a dagger. ARR is a convicted fel..
