Shortly before 2:00 pm Tuesday, the Antioch Police Department arrested a subject wanted on a warrant on D. St and W. 19th after having been looking for him for several months.
As officers were performing routine patrol, a police officer noticed the man and took him into custody after a short chase.
According to officers, this is related to an early Sept. incident where police searched a home on W. 19th where a man fled into an attic space. Police could not locate the man after a search and after gas had been used to lure him out. Police were called a second time when the man reportedly fell through the ceiling and fled the area.
