WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) issued the following statement after the U.S. House of Representatives sent the U.S. Senate the article of impeachment against former President Donald Trump for inciting the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol:
“I took an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. The case before us is clear — Donald Trump incited a violent insurrection in our nation’s Capitol. Donald Trump will have due process and the opportunity to present his case before the Senate, but there are no doubts as to the facts — and there are no alternative facts — the evidence was broadcast live on national television for all to witness. That is precisely why the House moved so expeditiously to impeach him.
“I will vote to convict Donald Trump and work to ensure that he and his enablers are held accountable. There must be justice and accountability so we can begin to heal as a nation and restore faith in our democracy.”

Saying you will convict someone based on your current knowledge of a situation, is a biased slant. He can’t not get a fair and impartial trial as the constitution entitles him to have.

Anyone paying attention for the last year witnessed Democrat Governors, Mayors, and Soros funded DA’s support black lives matter and Antifa while they burned down Minneapolis, Kenosha, Portland for 200 nights straight and other cities. Setting federal buildings on fire while the left and major media outlets cheered them on with no consequence. Did anyone really watch the speech because no media covered it and it was blocked on most websites. I’ve watched the speech online with my wife. Hard to find which is sad and he never incited any violence. It’s unconstitutional to impeach a private citizen with no due process or hearing. That’s not how impeachments work. I’ve asked myself why do they hate this man so much? Once i saw everything President Trump has done that major media and big tech blocked from American public it made sense.

Isn’t it funny (in a pathetic way) that Trumpers insist that the presidential election was stolen yet could produce no evidence of it in sixty-some lawsuits that were all dismissed for lack of same. Their claims all were variations on the theme “I know there was cheating” with no supporting evidence. Then they claim that very lack of evidence is “proof” of a coverup of election cheating. Catch-22.
So let me ask this of Trumpers: if the Dems were so brilliant and crafty to pull all this off in MULTIPLE states, then why didn’t they also fix the downballot contests to give themselves commanding majorities in the House and Senate? ROBERT C — There was massive, solidly documented, hard evidence of voter fraud. The courts did not refuse to accept the cases because there was not enough evidence. On the contrary, they had much more evidence than they needed, of every possible type of voter fraud. There were even signed court confessions of Italian interference!
Our courts refused it because there was undeniable, irrefutable, massive evidence, which would go against their political stance they illegally chose to follow. So much for being fair and neutral. They had to make sure Trump would not get a fair chance in any court, esp. Supreme Court. In short, they were corrupt.

The fox news followers claim that antifa caused riots at BLM protests. Those assumptions were made before any investigation was done. Fox news is fake news. The term fake news was coined by the source of fake news and lied about mainstream media being fake news. In Bellevue WA looting happened the same day that BLM protests happened. The police department analyzed 1,000s of videos from residents and identified the people who looted the mall, they were not connected to BLM, they were from a gang.
Another BLM protest was organized by a high school girl. A right wing podcaster followed two young people around town and sent the video to a local TV station claiming they were antifa. The crazy thing about that protest is that there was no violence, protesters stayed on the sidewalks and traffic flowed as usual.
On January 6th one member of the group that broke into the Capitol identified himself as antifa over and over, while wearing a Trump hat.
For me the difference between BLM protests and January 6th is that the BLM protest organizers were clear that they didn’t want violence, the violence that happened from videos that I watched was perpetrated by individuals that were not wearing BLM; whereas the people who went into the Capitol were easily identifiable as Trump supporters. Trump started the march to the Capitol and told his supporters that he would be with them, but left. Trump told supporters to stand by as they gathered, which looked like an order to wait for his command to attack. U.S. President Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani at a rally on Wednesday called for “trial by combat” to dispute the U.S. presidential election results. Guliani and Trump gave the command to invade the capital.
What happened at the Capitol is indefensible .
Trump needs to be held accountable for his actions, the president needs to obey the law and not incite a riot to overthrow the government.

I saw about 8 buses from which antifa black-clad people emerged bringing with them Trump flags. They were dressed like ninjas and made no bones about who they were. They bragged about their reason for being in the capitol. I took as many photos of them as I could and gave them to the authorities. This was before they donned their masks. There were a few BLM thugs too with signs and “BLM” written on the back of their jackets. Took pictures of those as well.

What in hell is going on in the White House? The White House being dark for 10 days now, the military and Pentagon not recognizing Biden (they never saluted him on inauguration day!) and preventing him from entering the Pentagon, Biden was never given the nuclear codes, and yesterday night, the video showing all these police cars with lights on, descending on the Capitol. Europeans reporting they saw the inauguration hours before it took place in the US! The setting of Biden signing EO’s was different.
All this has to be made public, because people are noticing all the anomalies going on. There were some witnesses that saw certain people were arrested at the Capitol. It continues. Pelosi is now accompanied by two marshals. Could be for her protection because she was demanding it, or so she does not escape when all hell breaks lose, and she does not get away. Biden now being exposed in his daughter Ashley’s diary, that he took showers with her. Sick.
They are trying to keep everything under wraps because they don’t want to trigger a civil war, or at least massive street fights. Nothing looks good with this administration.
