The holiday events in East Contra Costa County continue this weekend in Knightsen and at the Streets of Brentwood with two worthwhile events for folks who want to take a break from shopping.
Knightsen Holiday Parade
The Knightsen Garden Club will be hosting an inaugural holiday parade beginning at 3:00 pm today followed by a tree lighting ceremony around 5:00 pm. The event will take place in downtown Knightsen. There will also be e toy barrels set up for anyone who would like to donate toys to the kids in need.
Streets of Brentwood Annual Holiday Tree Lighting
Join the Streets of Brentwood hosts its annual holiday tree lighting this evening between 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Festivities include free train rides in the plaza, DRU Solo, Choir Sings, and a holiday fashion show. Santa will also be on hand from 7-9pm for pictures.
