San Joaquin County Murder Suspect Located in Bay Point

On Saturday, the Joaquin County Sheriffs office has tracked a murder suspect to a home in Bay Point in Contra Costa County.

Since approximately 10:45 am, San Joaquin County Sheriffs Office and Contra Costa County Sheriff Deputies have been working on a surrender for D’Angelo Webb.

Webb is wanted in connection with the October 4 murder of 24-yr-old Brandi Hornsby and stabbed her mother. Webb and Hornsby were in a dating relationship and have a 6-week-old child, Ggiana Webb. The child was not harmed.

Webb is wanted for murder and attempted murder and was scene driving a a 2015 Silver Chevy Equinox with license plate # 7KBE022.

On Saturday, the residents of the home were safely evacuated and communication with D’Angelo continues as of 3:50 pm with a negotiation team working on his surrender. Webb says he is armed with a weapon.

Lockdown due to Law Enforcement Activity in Bay Point

This is a message from Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office. There is currently law enforcement activity near Ambrose Lane in Bay Point. People between Water Street and Willow Pass Road and Marys Avenue and Alves Lane in Bay Point are advised to lockdown in the nearest place of safety. Go inside, and close and lock all windows and doors. Stay off the phone and do not call 911 unless you need to report a life-threatening emergency. To report suspicious activity, contact Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at 925-646-2441. Stay indoors unless you receive further official instructions.

OCT 6: UPDATE ON STABBING INCIDENT FROM 10/4/21

Sadly, the body of 24-yr-old Brandi Hornsby was located inside the residence in the 3900 block of E. Fremont Street in Stockton. Our thoughts go out to her family.

What we know so far is Brandi and the suspect, D’Angelo Dijon Webb were in a dating relationship and have a 6-week-old child, Ggiana Webb.

Brandi’s mother went to check up on Brandi and was attacked by D’Angelo. She suffered severe injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, where her condition is now stable.

When our office was called, D’Angelo fled with Ggiana and later dropped her off at another family’s address. The child was not harmed.

D’Angelo Webb is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

He is now WANTED for murder and attempted murder and is considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen driving a 2015 Silver Chevy Equinox with license plate # 7KBE022.

Anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of Dangelo Webb is urged to call 911. Do not contact him.

Oct 5: Wanted for attempted murder.
Last night shortly after 10 pm, our office received a call reporting a stabbing at the 3900 block of E. Fremont Street in Stockton.
When our deputies arrived on the scene, they found a female victim with serious injuries. Medics transported that victim to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
During the investigation, it was determined a 24-year-old female and a child were missing, and possibly with the suspect who fled from the scene before deputies arrived.
An amber alert was immediately put out and the child was found safe a short time later.
The suspect, D Angelo Dijon Webb, 24, is believed to be armed with a knife and took off in the surviving victim’s vehicle, a 2015 Silver Chevy Equinox with license plate # 7KBE022.
