Suspect in Friday Morning Triple Shooting in Sacramento Arrested in Pittsburg

A suspected in a South Sacramento triple shooting was taken into custody Friday afternoon in the City of Antioch according to the Sacramento County Sheriffs Office.

Antioch Police let us know the arrest location was actually in Pittsburg on Loveridge Road.

At 5:30 a.m. on Friday August 23, 2019 the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting in the 10000 block of Clover Ranch Drive in the South Sacramento Vineyard neighborhood. The caller stated his roommate shot him, was wearing body armor and was possibly armed with multiple firearms. He also said he had 4 additional roommates and did not know if they were also shot.

Upon arrival, deputies located three gunshot victims, all males in their 20’s. All three victims were transported to area hospitals. One of the males sustained life-threatening injuries, while the other two sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Two additional males in their 20’s were inside the residence at the time of the shooting, but were not shot.

Deputies located a handgun inside the residence.

The suspect has been identified as 25-year-old Trey Devaughn Hallman. Hallman left the scene prior to deputies’ arrival. He is considered armed and dangerous and his whereabouts is unknown at this time.
