Sacramento County Sheriff Nabs Robbery Suspects, Including Antioch Man

On January 28, 2022, at 3:41 P.M. the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office received multiple hold-up alarms from a jewelry business located on the 1300 block of Howe Avenue.

The employees witnessed one of their customers being robbed in the parking lot. Two male suspects exited a vehicle driven by a third suspect and approached the victim at gun point. One suspect took personal items from the victim while the other took the victim’s briefcase. The victim was not injured and the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.

Unbeknownst to the suspects, the victim’s cell phone was inside the briefcase and arriving deputies immediately began tracking the suspects. STAR (Sheriff’s Air Support) was able to track the suspect vehicle westbound on I80 near the City of Davis. STAR guided Davis Police Officers to the vehicle and they attempted a felony stop which turned into a pursuit that entered onto surface streets in the City of Dixon; it was at this time, the suspect vehicle lost control and crashed.

All three suspects exited the vehicle and fled on foot into a nearby apartment complex.

Several law enforcement agencies from Yolo and Solano Counties responded to assist Davis Police Department set up a perimeter to contain and search for the suspects. Officers located all three suspects and took them into custody without incident. Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the apartment complex and took custody of the suspects. Deputies located a semiautomatic handgun with an extended magazine in the suspect’s vehicle. Sheriff’s Robbery Detectives are actively investigating this incident.

Reginald Philanders Soriano (20) of Antioch, Jasoni Darien Davis (21) of Fairfield and Keishawn Zachary Jones (20) of Fairfied were transported back to Sacramento County and booked into the Main Jail on two felony counts each for robbery and conspiracy. All three suspects posted $50,000 bail each and were released several hours later. No booking photo or further information is available at this time.
