Regional Parks Free for Active and Retired Military on Veterans Day

by ECT

Once again, the East Bay Regional Park District is honoring our veterans by welcoming them to Regional Parks for free on Veterans Day (Sunday, November 11, 2018).

All active and retired military personnel will receive free entry and free day-use parking, including to the popular Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont and tours at Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve in Antioch.

The East Bay Regional Park District is a system of beautiful public parks and trails in Alameda and Contra Costa counties east of San Francisco Bay, established in 1934. The system comprises 121,000 acres in 73 parks including over1,250 miles of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding and nature learning.
