The Dublin Police Department identified Alexander Mark Antonyyo, Jr, 26 of San Francisco as the homicide shooting victim on November 28 in the City of Dublin. Antonyyo was known by many as “Lil Yase”.
Dublin Police are continuing to investigate the shooting where on Nov. 28, at about 1:00 am, police responded to Valley Care Medical Center in Pleasanton for a report of a subject who arrived suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say they believe based on initial information; the shooting occurred near the East Dublin BART Station. The Antonyyo was transported via ambulance to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley where he later succumbed to his injuries.
It is unclear why Lil Yase was in Dublin after he was reportedly recording in Marin County earlier in the night.
No suspects have been identified as police continue to investigate the shooting. This is Dublin’s second homicide of 2020.
