President Trump Endorses John Cox for Governor

California — President Donald J. Trump endorsed Republican John Cox for Governor today via twitter.

“California finally deserves a great Governor, one who understands borders, crime and lowering taxes. John Cox is the man – he’ll be the best Governor you’ve ever had. I fully endorse John Cox for Governor and look forward to working with him to Make California Great Again!” wrote President Trump.

“I am honored and deeply grateful to my President and I am looking forward to working with him to make California great again,” Cox said. “Like the President, I’m a businessman who knows how to get things done. We’re going to secure the border, empower California small businesses, lower taxes, and make our state affordable for everyone.”

  1. Not that he wasn’t already toast, but that should seal Cox into the dustbin of political history.

  2. Cox is exactly what California needs. California is so screwed up right now. Shoving a gas tax down our throat, tax this, tax that, sue ourselves to break federal laws, destroy our delta, a train money pit dream, financially defend non citizens, and protect illegal alien criminals. Vote Cox and get California back. It’s the simple solution to the current nonsense.

    • Oh, yeah, “American”, California is so “screwed up”, with a balanced budget and a surplus. I prefer a California that continues to be independent and unafraid of Federal meddling. Brown did what he promised he would do, get California out of the hole and back in the black. Not sure what “nonsense” we need to “save” California from, except the DC Insane Clown Posse.

Trump has not helped to lower the cost of living or raise standards for the average citizen. His “Great America” is one that benefits the top tier and does nothing for the rest of us. He likes to “win”, while the rest of us “lose” because we are not “winners”. So, if he heartily endorses John Cox, I might expect the same from Cox. Not my America, not my California.

  3. I never pay attention to who is endorsing whom! It’s a total waste of time. I make my own decisions whom I vote for . . . and I’m voting for COX . . . hands down!
