Pleasant Hill Police Seek Armed Robbery Suspect

On April 5, 2016 at 1:47 pm, Pleasant Hill Police were called to the Nordstrom Rack at 703 Contra Costa Blvd for a report of an armed robbery that just occurred.

A detailed description of the suspect and his vehicle was provided. Officers located the fleeing vehicle and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit was terminated when the suspect drove into oncoming traffic.

It was later determined that an adult female and three children were in the vehicle at the time of the pursuit. The driver has been identified as Charles Frederick Justus, a 22 year old Hayward resident. Justus is 5’10”, 160 lbs, with red hair and blue eyes.

He is considered armed and dangerous, and is currently on Parole. He was last seen driving a beige 2000 Dodge Durango, license plate 4MAT720.
