Pittsburg, CA – The City of Pittsburg, CA and the Pittsburg Historical Society will be hosting a 3-day celebration, which include several events throughout Pittsburg, to honor Camp Stoneman’s history and the millions of soldiers who were stationed at the military base.
Camp Stoneman was once the principal “jumping off point” for more than two million soldiers destined for operations in WWII’s Pacific Theater and again several years later during the Korean War.
The celebrations include a vintage car show, an evening social fundraiser and a Tribute to Veterans at Small World Park.
