Pittsburg Police Arrest 22 During Enforcement Operation

The Pittsburg Police Department announced on Wednesday that 22-people were arrested during an enforcement operation in the Parkside Dr. neighborhood.

Police posted on their Facebook page the following message:

After receiving numerous neighborhood complaints regarding criminal activity in the Parkside Dr. corridor, the Pittsburg Police Department’s Street Crime Unit conducted a two month focused enforcement detail of the area.

As a result a total of 22 subjects were arrested and two residential search warrants were served.

The violations included possession of narcotics for sales, illegal possession of firearms, stolen vehicles, narcotics possession, check fraud, identity theft and manufacturing fraudulent US Currency.

SCU would like to thank those in the community who were diligent in reporting criminal activity in this area. The success of our detail was due in no small part to you!

Police did not release any arrest details.
