Photos: Safety Event Helps Make East County A little Safer For Children

On Saturday, residents of East County were treated to a Child Safety Seat Inspection event which was co-sponsored by Assemblyman Jim Frazier (D-Oakley), the Brentwood Police Officers Association, and the California Highway Patrol.

The event offered free child safety car seat inspections, fingerprinting, and general safety tips. In fact, a child as young as 2-months old was on hand for a safety seat inspection and finger printing while attendees came from as far as Bay Point.

Assemblyman Jim Frazier presented the Brentwood Police Officers Association and the California Highway Patrol with a certificate for their efforts.

Here are some photographs of Saturday’s event where Brentwood vice mayor Joel Bryant was also on hand to lend support for the efforts of local law enforcement.

On a side note, for those looking to get to know your Brentwood Police Department a little bit better, they have an upcoming event scheduled for Oct. 26 you should consider.
