This week, Meals on Wheels Diablo Region announced it has been chosen to participate in Travis Credit Union Foundation’s Community Funding Initiative.
If you make a donation by September 30th at Travis Credit Union Foundation’s website, https://tcufund.org/ways-to-give/, and choose MOW Diablo Region, your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000!
Your donation to MOW Diablo Region at https://tcufund.org/ways-to-give/ will go twice as far in helping vulnerable seniors!
Since March, they have seen a 40% increase in clients needing delivered meals. As shelter-in-place continues, the Friendly Callers are reaching out to isolated seniors to provide a caring voice. More seniors have also turned to our Care Management team to help them with depression, housing, elder abuse and other issues.
