Martinez Police Investigating Armed Robbery of Cannabis Distributor

On Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, at approximately 1211 hours, the Martinez Police Department responded to an armed robbery at Embarc Martinez, 3502 Alhambra Ave in Martinez, CA.

Upon arrival, officers located a unharmed 36-year-old male victim employed as a cannabis distributor. Officers learned that three suspects, described as black male adults wearing masks, had robbed the victim at gunpoint while he was arriving to deliver cannabis to the business.

Two of the three suspects, who were armed with semi-automatic handguns, approached the victim and stole from the delivery vehicle. The suspects fled the scene in a newer model black Honda sedan. The suspect vehicle had a small dent on the back of the vehicle above the rear license plate.

The loss was a large amount of cannabis and the victim’s personal belongings. There were no injuries sustained.

The suspects, suspect vehicle, and stolen property are currently outstanding at this time.

Be patient they’ll probably sell it back to the weed man. Come to think about it he buys it back then resales it and no taxes.
