Livermore Police Looking for Missing Autistic Teenager

The Livermore Police Department announced Monday they are looking for an autistic teenager who walked away from his home on March 11, 2017.

Police say Andrew “Andy” Nichols walked away from his home in Livermore on 3/11/17 at about 11 am–he was reported missing to police on Monday. Andrew is described as a high functioning autistic young man with the cognitive and social skills of a 12-13 year old.  Andrew does not have any known friends or associates and therefore there are limited leads on where to find Andrew.

The Livermore Police Department is asking our community to keep an eye out for Andrew and to immediately contact us if you see him or know his whereabouts.

Andrew is described as a white male, who is eighteen years of age.  He is 5’ 11” tall and weighs about 165 lbs.  Andrew has brown hair and hazel eyes.  Andrew was last seen wearing a dark colored t-shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes.  Andrew left home without his medication, cellular phone, or money.
