LAFAYETTE, Calif. — At last night’s Lafayette City Council meeting, Councilmembers voted unanimously to approve a Proclamation by Mayor Mike Anderson recognizing June as LGBTQ+ Pride Month in Lafayette. The LGBTQ+ Pride flag will fly over Lafayette Plaza, in the city’s center, throughout the month of June.
There will be a brief flag ceremony led by Mayor Anderson on Saturday, June 1, at 9:45 am, at the Lafayette Plaza, to raise the LGBTQ+ Pride Flag. Lafayette Plaza is located at the intersection of Mt. Diablo Blvd. and Moraga Road in Lafayette.

I guess next month ISIS can fly their flag at the City Centre because we must accept everbody and everything. God, this country has gone insane!
What IS THIS crap with Google ads all over this site? I hate GOOGLE and remove those ads immediately! You can use a program which eliminates ALL ads from your screen!
Now, I will not do business in ANY of these cities which plan to fly this God-forsaken flag celebrating abnormal lifestyles! Have their city councils gone out of their minds? C’mon!
Perhaps when you are all grown up you can start your own site and run it any way you would like. You sound like you are an arrogant it’s all about me kind of person. Lets hope not. I personally think ECT is doing a fine job.
Nobody is criticizing ECT, but only the decision to put up these crappy ads from, all places, Google — which is run now by an arrogant jerk who had to crap on his dirt streets in his backward Indian village. Just about 100% of the stuff in those ads is about as useful as a fart in a windstorm!
When enough people become ECT Patrons, ads will be removed. Until then, we like having our lights on.

This city is setting a very dangerous precedent! The city council is opening up a can-of-worms they might soon regret! They do not represent everybody in Lafayette, but just a few. A lot of people do not approve of these lifestyles! This move might even become dangerous to the weirdos themselves.
