The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between July 23-29 according to information provided by Brentwood Police Department.

Alarm

  • 7/23 – American Ave: ARR entered school property w/o consent and triggered silent alarm. ARR intoxicated and out past curfew. ARR released on a juvenile affidavit to parent.

Assault

  • 7/25 – Brentwood Blvd: Unknown Responsible sprayed the 15 year old Vic with pepper spray.
  • 7/26 – Shady Willow Ln: INV 1 and INV 2 punched each other. No prosecution desired.
  • 7/28 – Fairview Ave: RES-1, RES-2, and RES-3 were involved in a physical altercation. None of the RES’s desired prosecution.
  • 7/29 – Second St.: RES and VIC-1 engaged in a verbal altercation. RES pushed VIC-1 then pushed VIC-2. No injuries. VIC-1 and VIC-2 signed citizen arrest.

Auto Theft

  • 7/23 – Brentwood Blvd: RES rented vehicle and has not returned it. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 7/27 – Tradition Way: VIC’s vehicle taken from driveway over night. Vehicle entered into SVS (See attached).
  • 7/28 – Pelican St.: Unknown RES stole VIC’s vehicle.

Burglary – Auto

  • 7/24 – Griffith : VIC parked vehicle at 1807 hours and returned to vehicle at 1900 hours. VIC found the door lock had been tampered with. The vehicle stereo was stolen. Estimated value was $200.00.
  • 7/27 – Brentwood Blvd: Vehicle was broken into, alarm disabled, stereo stolen and vehicle door and dashboard damaged while parked on car sales lot.

Burglary – Residential

  • 7/23 – La Sata Dr.: RES entered residence via a rear glass door and stole items.
  • 7/24 – Dawnview Dr: Unknown RES forced entry into VIC’s residence by smashing out the rear slider. Once inside, RES took VIC’s property. Nothing seen.
  • 7/24 – Diamond Springs: RES entered residence between 0445-1500 hours by shattering rear slider and took VIC property
  • 7/26 – Wildrose Way: RES attempted to kick then broke out window on model home at Palmilla on 7/25/14 1800 to 7/26/14 1000 hrs. RES damaged TV in attempt to steal it. No items taken.
  • 7/28 – Cloverleaf Cl: ARR1 and ARR2 were contacted after committing a residential burglary. Property recovered. ARR1 and ARR2 to MDF. VEH stored for evidence.
  • 7/29 – Europena Dr.: Unidentified RES forced entry into VIC’s residence and stole numerous items. Total loss is approximately $5485.

DUI

  • 7/24 – Dupre Way: P-1 collided with a parked vehicle. P-1 was determined to be DUI. P-1 was transported to MDF.
  • 7/25 – Sycamore Ave: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF, VEH stored.
  • 7/25 – Chevron Oak: ARR stopped for VC violation and found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF. ARR’s vehicle towed and stored.
  • 7/26 – Sycamore Ave: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/26 – Empire Ave: V-1 collided with a guardrail. P-1 was determined to be DUI. P-1 was released on a
  • 7/27 – Oak St.: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR determined to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/27 – Balfour: ARR vehicle stopped for CVC violations. ARR was DUI alcohol and transported to MDF. ARR vehicle towed.

Fraud

  • 7/29 – Duffy Way: VIC stated that RES opened a PG&E account under his name in the City of San Francisco. Total estimated loss $590.15.

Forgery/Counterfeiting

  • 7/25 – Balfour Rd: RES used a counterfeit $1 bill for a charity donation.
  • 7/25 – John Muir PW: INV passed a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase a pair of prescription glasses.
  • 7/29 – Balfour Rd: RES-1 and RES-2 convinced VIC to buy a gold colored bar for $7,000. VIC later determined the bar was fake.

Hit & Run Accident

  • 7/27 – Marsh Creek Rd:P-1 was driving V-1 and struck the center median knocking a traffic sign and trees from their affixed place. P-1 then fled the scene on foot. V-1 was determined to be a stolen vehicle.
  • 7/28 – Fairview Ave: RES- struck VIC’s vehicle and then fled the scene.

Misc. Information

  • 7/25 – Autumn Valley Way: INV was found inside of vacant residence. Code Enforcement has now placed posted no trespass on building. INV was admonished to stay away.
  • 7/28 – Sawyer Ct.: Civil dispute over a Facebook page.
  • 7/29 – Blackstone Dr.: INV reported physical abuse to INV-2 and INV-3. Case under investigation.

Narcotics Violation

  • 7/25 – St. Andrews Dr.: ARR contacted and found in possession of approximately 2 ounces of marijuana. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/27 – Balfour Rd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.

Outside Assist

  • 7/23 – Minnesota:RES’ started three small fires on the Marsh Creek Trail as well as in the creek.
  • 7/27 – Spaulding St.: Outside assist report for an Officer Involved Critical Incident.
  • 7/29 – Second St.: INV-1 and INV-2 were contacted and found to have active arrest warrants. The originating agency (Contra Costa SO) was contacted, and they responded to take custody of the warrant suspects.

Parole/Probation Violations

  • 7/25 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR was causing disturbance and was unable to care for self due to alcohol intoxication. ARR on probation with no alcohol condition. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/26 – Orchard Dr: ARR contacted and found to be in possession of a shaved key. ARR also on felony probation of 10851 VC. ARR to MDF.

Petty Theft

  • 7/23 – Lone Oak Rd: VIC’s mail was taken from mailbox.
  • 7/23 – Mesquite Ct.: Package stolen from front porch.
  • 7/23 – Oak St.: Unknown RES stole $30 worth of Red Bull energy drinks from the business.
  • 7/24 – Lone Tree Way: RES1-RES3 left the business without paying for their meals.
  • 7/25 – First St.: RES entered VIC’s unlocked vehicle and stole US Currency between 2330-0500 hrs.
  • 7/26 – Solitude Way: VIC front license plate lost or stolen from vehicle at an unknown location and time. License plate located by Pittsburg PD.
  • 7/27 – Spring St.: RES-1 and RES-2 took a bottle of alcohol from the business and fled in a white Dodge. Total loss $40.
  • 7/28 – Second St: ARR stole items from store and was found to be on felony probation and have prior theft convictions. ARR to MDF.

Property

  • 7/23 – Highland Way: ARR1 was contacted and found to be in possession of a fixed blade knife and a felon in possession of a tear gas weapon. A probation search of ARR’s residence was later conducted and a stolen boat along with other stolen property was located. During the course of the search, ARR2 left the scene wit…

Restraining Order Violation

  • 7/23 – Mesquite Ct.: ARR was contacted at above address in violation of a criminal protective order. ARR also had 2 outstanding warrants.

 

Robbery

  • 7/23 – Lone Tree Wayy: RES-1 and RES-2 robbed the business at gunpoint, taking approximately $450 in cash and some tobacco products before fleeing on foot.
  • 7/28 – Brentwood Blvd: RES entered business with a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from VIC. Fearing for his safety VIC gave RES $103.00 and RES left the business.
  • 7/29 – Second St.: Unknown RES entered the store and stole unknown property. WIT-2 attempted to contact RES-1 as she exited, and RES-2 attempted to push WIT-2. No injuries. Unknown total loss.

Suspicious Circumstances

  • 7/24 – Vista St.:Subjects entered RP’s backyard after ringing the doorbell numerous times. Subjects didnot make entry into RP’s residence and fled the area in a silver vehicle prior toofficers’ arrival.
  • 7/29 – Boltzen St.: RP stated INV made entry into residence. INV has password to alarm and has previously been employed by RP as a dog sitter. RP wants no further action.

Vandalism

  • 7/26 – Brentwood Blvd:RES drove onto the lawn area causing significant damage.

 

Warrant

  • 7/24 – Broderick Dr: ARR contacted on suspicious vehicle stop and found to have 2 outstanding misd. Warrants for his arrest. FTAs on 14601.2(a)VC. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/24 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was stopped for a VC violation. ARR was determined to have an outstanding warrant and a suspended driver’s license due to a prior DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/24 – Second St.: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to have outstanding warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/24 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted and had two oustanding warrants for his arrest (23152(a) CVC/23152(b) CVC). ARR to MDF.
  • 7/26 – Walnut Blvd: ARR contacted and found to have an outstanding warrant for 1203.2 PC. ARR to MDF.

Weapons Violation

  • 7/23 – Cesar Chavez Dr: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were contacted sitting inside a vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded firearm. ARR-1 to MDF. ARR-2 released on a PTA.
  • 7/27 – Balfour Rd: ARR contacted and found in possession of a throwing star and expandable baton. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/27 – Oak St.: SUS brandished VIC with a baseball bat following an argument.
