Harris Statement on Supreme Court Decision that Federal Civil Rights Law Protects LGBTQ Employees

WASHINGTON, D.C.U.S. Senator Kamala D. Harris (D-CA) on Monday released the following statement in response to the ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court that federal non-discrimination law protects LGBTQ workers.

“The Supreme Court’s ruling today sent a clear message to all Americans: our federal civil rights law protects LGBTQ workers and requires that they be treated with the dignity and respect every person deserves. The Court held that the Civil Rights Act prohibits discrimination in employment on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. Today’s decision will go a long way toward ensuring that LGBTQ people are protected in other critical areas, including education, health care, and housing.

“Our work is far from over, but as we celebrate Pride Month, today’s ruling is a step in the right direction in the fight for full equality for the LGBTQ community in all of its diversity, and in every facet of life.”

I sure hope Biden does not pick this one.

Harris, like many left wing nut cases serving in the Congress (see Mazie Hirono, or Illhan Omar or Annya Presley etc. etc), continually claims any SCOTUS nominee appointed by a Republican will gut civil rights, roll back health care, overturn abortion laws, etc. . This is just leftist nonsense, as this ruling shows. Roberts and Gorchuch both voted to keep protections for LGBT people legal. Justices a free to vote the way they want, using the US constitution and statues as their guides. Harris owes Gorsuch an apology and Kavanagh – she tried to smear both of these guys reputation to keep them off the court, because of her false belief they would make ruling that hurt regular people.

The Supreme Court decision speaks for itself. We don’t need a “Harris Statement.” Yes, grandstanding as usual.

Harris tries to pass for an African/American when she has no black DNA in her. Both of her parents were Indian/Pakistani

Actually her father Donald emigrated from Jamaica in 1961

Her race should make no difference. It’s her wacky ideas that are the problem.
